Monsoon Season

It's monsoon season here in Arizona again. I remember when I first came here and heard that term, I had visions of the floods in India. Well, the monsoons here are a little different, at least mostly. Usually it means slightly higher humidity and afternoon storms consisting of a gray sky, thunder, lightning, wind, dust and once in a while, rain. This past weekend we got hit hard though, we did actually have some flooding, even if just for a short time. They actually had to close US60 due to flooding. I did find a good link about Monsoon Season on the ASU site. Read it HERE. A friend, Chuck Reynolds, shot some video of the Monsoon last weekend too.

My brother Randy wrote a song titled Monsoon Season which appears on the upcoming Dygmies album.
